The IRCICA Library and Archive collection consists of books, periodicals, off-prints and grey literature, as well as manuscripts and rare books that are being transferred to digital media, and written/printed documents in various formats, audiovisual materials, maps, etc.

The collection, which is expanding continuously through purchases, exchanges and donations, contains works that focus on Islamic civilization and Muslim nations, especially on history, geography, science, art, religion, literature and philosophy in Turkish, Arabic, English, French, Persian and German, as well as regional languages such as Swahili and Zulu.
