Who can use the IRCICA Library?
The library primarily meets all the information needs of IRCICA researchers but also serves visitors from all over the world. External users visiting the library include academics, graduate students, researchers from institutions and organizations.
What is the Library’s opening hours?
Monday-Friday: 09.00 am -05.00 pm. Closed on official holidays.
How can I search the library catalog?

What are the terms of use of the materials in the collection?
The materials requests are evaluated/replied by the Library within the framework of the rules of use.

How can I request digital copies of library materials?
Requests for copies from information sources are evaluated by the Library. If digital copies of the materials are used for purposes other than those foreseen or are shared electronically without permission, IRCICA will take the necessary legal action. According to the terms of use of the materials, requested materials are subject to a usage fee.
Is there anywhere in the library where I can access the internet?
Yes. All user computers have internet, as well as wireless network service. There are also sockets on the tables for charging laptops.
How can I donate my collection?
The principles for donations are as follows:
- Information resources that are in line with IRCICA’s purposes and research needs, that are not obsolete and have not lost their scientific quality are accepted as donations.
- Information resources that are physically damaged, scratched, have missing pages, or bear another institution’s stamp of affiliation are not accepted as donations.
- Information resources that have ideological or propaganda content or are incompatible with moral rules, and multiple copies of the same source, are not accepted as donations.
- Newspapers or supplements of newspapers are not accepted as donations.
- Periodicals that do not possess volume integrity within a collection, publications that do not match the existing collection, single issues and off-prints of articles are not accepted as donations.
- Primary school, high school textbooks, mimeographed, photocopied or pirated information sources are not accepted as donations.
- Test books are not accepted as donations.
- After the donation is affected, the donor cannot claim rights regarding the donation or any document, paper, etc. it may contain.
- A special collection or space cannot be created in the library in the name of a donor in a way that will disrupt the integrity of the general collection.
